On May 5, 1862, the Mexican army won one of the most improbable military victories in history, over Napoleon’s French forces at the Battle of Puebla. Over 150 years later, Cinco De Mayo is still celebrated across North America, treated as not only a remembrance of Mexican heritage but also a chance to get out with your friends and enjoy some good old springtime camaraderie. In a few short weeks, we invite you to come and take in the festivities at some of the coolest 2018 Cinco De Mayo Events in Grand Junction CO!
Presented by the Latin Anglo Alliance Foundation, Main Street in Grand Junction is set to come alive two Saturdays from now. It all starts at 10 am, with arts, crafts, food vendors and much more in the way of entertainment. Plus, if you get there at 6 pm, you’ll get to witness some great street dancing and live music. All ages are welcome!

PLACE (people for local activities and community enrichment) is working to inform the Grand Junction public about the goal of creating a community and recreation center. Would it be possible to have a table during the Cinco de Mayo celebration on May 5th downtown? We can be self-sufficient and supply our own table, canopy, etc.
Thank you in advance.
