Grand Junction Independence Day Parade
One of the most lasting symbols of Americana is the parade, as the processions of floats and street performers have always been able to incite awe and amazement in us all. There are plenty of causes for celebration on Independence Day, and you can bet that the whole Grand Junction community will be coming together to take in the sights and sounds. Grand Junction’s annual Independence Day Parade will kick off at 10 am on Main Street, and you can check it out for free! Just be sure to pack some snacks, refreshments, and chairs!

July 4th Fireworks at Grand Junction Rockies Game
Since baseball is unrivaled in its “America’s pastime” claim, it makes sense that you’ll find some great fun right here with the Grand Junction Rockies, as they’ll be taking on Ogden on the 4th! First pitch is at 6 pm, and immediately following the game, there will be a fireworks display for all who come out to catch the action. Combine this with the Grand Junction parade, and the whole city is sure to light up in celebration of our great nation!
