James M Robb-Colorado River State Park
Located right here in Grand Junction, James M. Robb State Park has a firm hold on our city’s recreational opportunities. The park is split into five different sections around Grand Junction, and offers everything from fishing to birding and even camping!
Highline Lake State Park
If you’re looking for an experience closer to the water, head up to Highline Lake State Park in nearby Loma. You’ll find one of the best boating spots in Colorado, and there aren’t many parks that get you closer to the wildlife than this one.
Vega State Park
For some added elevation you can’t go wrong with Vega State Park, on the edge of Grand Mesa National Forest. Due to its beautiful location it’s great for camping, boating and hiking, and there are even archery lessons coming up soon!
