Want to get your Christmas shopping out of the way before Thanksgiving, as well as check out a great movie and have an awesome meal? Head out to Avalon Theatre on Tuesday, November 21. They’ll be showing The Wizard of Oz, as well as other cool festivities throughout the evening!
Grand Junction Turkey Trot 5K
5Ks, marathons and fun runs are a staple of the Thanksgiving season, and they’re even sweeter with the Colorado scenery serving as a backdrop. Head out to Two Rivers Convention Center at 9:30 am on Thanksgiving Day for a brisk jog (or sprint, your call) through downtown Grand Junction!
Craft Show 2017 at Two Rivers
Two Rivers Convention Center will also play host to a wonderful event if you’re looking for some holiday décor. On Friday and Saturday (that’s November 24 and 25) you’re free to browse the collections and see which one best suits your home. A portion of the proceeds will benefit United Way as well!
Palisade Art and Chocolate Walk
Now this is really cool; on November 25 you’re all invited up to Palisade for the community’s annual Art and Chocolate Walk, essentially a market with all the beauty of fine art and taste of fine foods you could ever need. Don’t forget to snag a punch card while you’re at it; you could win a huge gift basket!
